New project in the works for Jonas Hyde

In Other on October 6, 2008 at 8:22 pm

On the heels of the successful poem Adieu – (The final words of Gilles de Rais) Jonas Hyde is putting together a new poetry anthology titled Last Words.  The works in Last Words will follow a similar premise to Adieu, in the idea they will be from the point of view of notable, though obscure, people throughout history.

The original piece, Adieu, is based on the final night in the life of GdR.  Gilles de Rais (September 10, 1404—October 26, 1440) was a French noble, soldier, and one time brother-in-arms of Joan of Arc, but is perhaps best known as a prolific serial killer who in his final nights sought forgiveness for his actions.

Other pieces in the anthology will be from the point of view of great thinkers, religious leaders, mathematicians, and more.

Jonas Hyde, the acclaimed poet, author, and wordsmith is excited to capture the essence of each of the final nights using his classical form of emotional intense and artistically vivid poetry.  For more information on Jonas Hyde, or to review some of his other prominent works such as Lament for Lady Beth, Seraph’s Song: The Epic Fable of Sister Sera, Daughter’s Dream, Insula de Verum, and more, please visit www.jonashyde.com
